Abstract

Civilization and culture are the structure of a society and their mutual culture is quite synthetic. In simple terms, civilization is related to urban order and development whereas culture exists in the form of tradition, customs, culture, food, food, language etc. of the residents there. There is no such rapid change in the history of civilization in two-three thousand years, as has been seen in the last two-three hundred years. Social media is a product of the Internet era. It has made a deep intervention in culture in the last two decades. The ancient society lived in groups and had a tradition of joint family. In the modern era, it broke down into a single family. Social Media has transformed this single family into a secluded family where members of the household are living as strangers who are unfamiliar to each other. 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' has now entered the Internet. This is creating a new kind of culture, but it is a rough culture, where sociality and harmony, intimacy and affection are a thing of the past. The relationship with nature is ending. The nature of the movement has also changed. People are taking interest in the virtual revolution. This pseudo-revolution has created a crisis in taking the real issues of society in affinity and seriousness. The selfie era has not expanded the self, but has sharply contracted it. Instead of 'anti' movement, it has become an event or a minor demonstration. Protest is just a floating thing on Facebook. Where there is war and terrorism, there is a social media ban. It seems that it helps to see, but there is no system that can reach the needy or listen to their voice. The percentage of help that is received is negligible. The mass movements that are discussed in the name of social media are few in number and the problems across the world are much more than thought. This crisis is more culturally. Machines and new technology are the product of civilization and the pattern of the modern society culture. There is a certain kind of uniformity in the pattern. If there is something positive, then this is the pattern that has broken the hierarchical pattern of society. The rich, the poor, the educated - the uneducated, the urban - rural, the men, the elderly, and the children - all appear to be cast in the same pattern. This pattern has broken many boundaries. A market is an area where a form of culture catches up very quickly and it also represents the entire region. The destruction of the traditional market is like destroying the culture. Now social media has opened up the e-commerce market. The social media has also given a new language to the language. In this way, a new pattern of culture has emerged due to social media.
